Due to expansion and seasonal uplift our prestigious Exeter based client is recruiting LGV C+E / HGV Class 1 and LGV C / HGV Class 2 drivers. Candidates will be recruited initially on a 12 week contract commencing July to September. We are looking for day and night drivers.

There is a genuine opportunity for permanent employment after the 12 weeks for suitable candidates.

Successful applicants will undergo an initial assessment day followed by 2 weeks of training.

Shifts starts between 4 am and 8 am depending on route. The routes are either 2 distance drops or up to 9 drops in an area.

The work pattern is 5 days from 7. This includes alternate Saturdays. These roles include bank holiday working.

We are also looking for Saturday only drivers.

Vehicles are loaded by the night warehouse staff and are mainly roll cages and totes. The fleet is mainly 2 years old.

Pay rates for LGV C+E start at £16.00 per hour rising to £17.84 per hour after the 12 weeks.

Pay rates for LGV C start at £15.00 per hour rising to £16.57 per hour after 12 the weeks.

You will need a valid LGV Licence and CPC and tacho cards. No more than 3 penalty points for speeding are accepted due to insurance restrictions.
