Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for a Resource Management Planner to join Devon & Cornwall Police force.Based at either Middlemoor, Exeter or Crownhill, PlymouthThis role is fully office basedWorking Monday - Friday, with weekend working Saturday or Sunday every 5 weekends£13.53 per hourTemporary initially until January 2026The role : To deliver effective resource plans for operational policing in order to meet the complex needs of a variety of business areas. In particular to : Maintain staffing levels for day to day policing activities, and for planned / spontaneous operationsAccurately record data in appropriate Force IT Systems to enable the production of effective resource plansAct as first point of contact for resource management enquiresSupport the maintenance of the organisational skill baseProduce reports and analysis to assist managers with future resourcing decisionsPresent and explain plans as required to relevant managersExperience Required : A sound understanding of resource management and planning including an understanding relevant IT systemsKnowledge of Police Regulations, Police Staff Handbook and Working Time RegulationsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsExperienced MS Office user, particularly Excel and OutlookComfortable in working with large amounts of data and quickly identifying gaps / inconsistenciesProven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesStrong negotiation skillsPlease note, due to Police Criteria you must have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years continuously.
