Recreation Assistants

All posts will work on a shift rota which includes weekends and bank holidays

Based at Alive Oasis, Hunstanton

Casual contracts - as and when required

Salary £12.26 per hour

If you are a skilled swimmer with an interest in the leisure field, we need you to join our Alive Oasis team as either a permanent or casual employee. You will be required to lifeguard our pool and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers. You will also assist with the general day to day operation including reception duties, cleaning tasks and ensuring the centre users have an enjoyable visit. Permanent contracts will require you to teach swimming to all abilities from non-swimmer to advanced. (Full training will be provided for this).

Ideally, you will have National Pool Lifeguard and Swimming Teacher Qualifications or be able to achieve these (you will be asked to complete a swim test prior to interview). You will be a good communicator with the ability to converse at ease with members of the public in accurate spoken English to ensure customers receive the highest level of service.

All appointments are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure, through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
