We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join our team in January 2025.

Role Overview : As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will : Teaching and Curriculum : Deliver high-quality, engaging Religious Studies lessons to students up to GCSE level, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate.

Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet school objectives and national standards, ensuring excellence in teaching and learning.

Student Progress : Assess and track student progress regularly, providing insightful feedback to support both academic and personal development.

Utilize assessment data to inform teaching practices, address learning gaps, and offer targeted support to ensure every student reaches their full potential.

Professional Development : Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the continuous development of the Religious Studies department and school as a whole.

Participate actively in the school community, supporting extracurricular activities, school events, and initiatives that enrich the student experience.

Candidate Requirements : Qualifications : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

A Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related discipline (desirable).

Experience : Experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary school level, with a comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum.

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are strongly encouraged to apply.
