Join us as a Preventative Maintenance Electrical Engineer in Bristol!The successful candidate will be required to take the lead in reliability improvements / sustainability, undertake problem solving sessions, compile documentation and provide technical lead in day-to-day operations.What youll do : You will report directly to the senior electrical engineer, and will be responsible for the reliability of electrical system for the BB / BLC / Mill areas.You will be responsible for ensuring that agreed reliability, AM / PM plans and strategies are effectively undertaken and delivered, liaising with Production, Quality, Operations and Contractors.You will support the maintenance planning team with all maintenance days ensuring best decisions are made regarding site critical AssetsYou will spend a significant portion of your role ensuring PM tasks are completed safely and closed out to a high standard, on time as well as being a significant contributor to the regular shutdowns within the BB / BLC / Mill areas, alongside the Maintenance Team Engineer and the Maintenance Operations Manager.Outside of shutdowns and PM tasks you will investigate CBM and OTR findings further and work with the Senior Electrical Engineer to plan these tasks accordingly to optimise shutdown effectiveness.What youll bring : Experience working with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, E-Maint)Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagramsHands-on experience with PLC & VSD systems / equipment (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi)Previous experience within an FMCG maintenance departmentInvolvement in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processesStrong problem-solving skillsPLC qualifications (desirable)Experience collaborating with stakeholders across various departmentsSolid process knowledgeDegree-level qualification preferred (engineering, electrical, or a combination of mechanical and electrical) / NVQ Level 3 or equivalentWhy join us?We are named the world's #1 most trustworthy company in the construction sector by Newsweek and Statista in 2023!Our culture
