A leading provider of infrastructure support services in the UK. They specialise in full life-cycle engineering, operations, and decarbonisation solutions for transport infrastructure and complex facilities.
Your new role
Assisting the quantity surveying team on Norfolk street lighting projects. Your role will be essential in overseeing project budgets and forecasts, monitoring costs, and ensuring that each project achieves its financial goals. By building strong client relationships, you will facilitate conflict resolution and ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction. Your expertise in managing changes and submitting contractual notices promptly will be crucial in maintaining project momentum and compliance.
Responsibilities :
- Client Relationship Management : Develop strong relationships with key clients to facilitate change and conflict management, aiding in the retention and acquisition of future projects.
- Financial Collaboration : Work closely with the Finance team to ensure complete project cost control, including budget management, forecasts, CVR reporting, and WIP management as per contract requirements.
- Change Management : Oversee change processes, review proposed work changes, and ensure the timely submission of contractual notices and early warnings.
- Bid Support : Assist the Bid and Estimating teams in winning strategic bids by developing robust commercial solutions.
- People Management : Perform people management duties, including conducting Performance Development Reviews, promoting the Inclusion and Diversity policy, and fostering an open, honest team environment.
