Client Accountant / Senior Accountant Independent Accountancy Practice Preston

Location : Preston Lancashire

Salary : per annum (DOE)

Job Type : Fulltime Permanent

Are you an experienced Client Accountant or Senior Accountant looking for an exciting opportunity within a growing independent accountancy practice Our client a wellestablished and expanding firm based in Preston is seeking a talented individual to join their team and support a diverse portfolio of clients.

The Role :

As a Client Accountant / Senior Accountant you will be responsible for :

Managing a portfolio of clients including sole traders partnerships and limited companies
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts management accounts and VAT returns
Handling corporate and personal tax computations and submissions
Providing business advisory support and liaising with clients directly
Assisting with training and mentoring junior team members
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations

About You :

Experience : A minimum of 3 years experience in an accountancy practice

Qualifications : ACA / ACCA qualified or partqualified (or equivalent experience)

Skills : Strong technical knowledge excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client management

Software : Experience with accounting software such as Xero QuickBooks or Sage would be advantageous
