Our client is a Manufacturer in the Urmston area and due to some internal promotions, they now have an opportunity to welcome a new Quality Officer to the team, and with an excellent reputation for training & developing their staff this could be the career boost you've been looking for!
Who This Job Would Suit :
This role is ideal for individuals with some experience in manufacturing quality & ISO who seek to expand their skills in a dynamic environment. The position offers comprehensive training and exposure across various departments, making it perfect for those looking to gain a holistic understanding of business operations and quality management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct routine quality inspections on incoming materials, work in progress, and finished products, and follow up on non-conformances (NCRs).
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues, implementing corrective actions (CAPAs).
- Complete and maintain quality documentation and records, including inspection and non-conformance reports.
- Participate in internal audits and inspections to ensure adherence to ISO : standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analysing data and contributing to quality targets and objectives.
Requirements :
Location : Urmston, Manchester
Perm : circa £27k - £30k (dependent on experience)
Hours : 08 : 00am - 17 : 00pm (Mon-Thurs) / 08 : 00am - 16 : 10pm (Fri)
