This exciting role offers a competitive salary of £50,000 - £52,000, with the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where teamwork is key to success.About the Role : As a Critical Shift Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continued operation of a critical site, managing both HV (High Voltage) and LV (Low Voltage) systems. You’ll work within a dedicated engineering team to maintain and repair key infrastructure, while following a Continental Days & Nights Shift Pattern, ensuring 24 / 7 site operations.Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and repair HV & LV systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Monitor and respond to equipment faults or failures in line with critical site protocols.
- Work as part of a close-knit engineering team to deliver outstanding service and teamwork every day.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and take proactive measures to prevent equipment failures.
- Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance on key systems and equipment.
- Work with other engineers and stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.Ideal Candidate :
- Proven experience working in critical site environments (data centres, industrial plants, etc.).
- Strong working knowledge and experience with HV & LV systems (training provided).
- Excellent team player with the ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work on a Continental Shift Pattern including days and nights.
- Health and safety conscious with a good understanding of engineering best practices.Benefits :
