Your new company
You will be joining a well-established and growing company in Elgin. This is a permanent opportunity in the finance department to join the company as a Finance Assistant with a salary of £27,000 - £30,000 (DOE).
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you play a pivotal role in supporting their finance department. Performing regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements. Processing invoices, payments, and expenses in a timely manner. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Supporting month-end and year-end processes. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial queries. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Supporting audits by providing relevant financial documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successfully appointed to this role, you will require proven experience in an accounting or finance role. Ideally, you will have attention to detail and proficiency in bank and account reconciliation. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel and also the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills are also required for this role.
