Responsibilities

for this Track and Civils Manager role :

• Define and maintain technical standards for track and civil engineering assets, including functionality, performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Lead the development, delivery and implementation of the long-term strategic asset management plans for all track and civil engineering assets, including major lifecycle renewals and life extension works.
• Support the operator in developing annual maintenance plans and budget requirements.
• Proactively monitor the operators progress and performance, ensuring the maintenance activities are robust.
• Review and analyse asset information to identify trends and inform appropriate asset management practices and regimes.
• Produce scopes and specifications for designs and works in relation to track and civil engineering assets, including sourcing and management of other specialists as required.
• Provide reports on asset condition, operator performance and supplier performance.
