We have an opportunity for a SHEQ / Health & Safety Director to join a large Civil Engineering Contractor, based in East / West Sussex.
As an experienced senior manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s HSEQ strategy, coupled with overseeing and managing all Health & Safety related functions across the business.
You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure total buy-in to the Health & Safety strategy. Strong leadership skills are essential.
Candidates must have relevant qualifications (CMIOSH & NEBOSH preferable) and have experience of managing Health & Safety processes within a large civil engineering or construction firm. Specific skills in the highways, utilities or rail sector would be highly advantageous.
