Territory Account Manager

9-month fixed term contract - The reason for FTC is they have people on family leave who will come back, or they are on secondment which means they may or may not come back. One thing to point out if they like you, they will always try their best to keep that person on with other opportunities. Most of the team joined on an FTC and now are in Perm jobs within a year. But it doesn't always work out that way.

Candidate Location : Dundee, Angus

Salary :

34,000 base salary, plus £5'000 commission

Fully expensed company car, fuel card, laptop, and mobile phone

The Role : The new Territory Account Manager will be tasked with managing an existing portfolio of customers within 3 channels : independent retail, grocery and franchises and petrol stations. Conducting multiple store visits a day, you will be responsible for retailer education, such as training store staff on brand retention, gaining market share, merchandising and marketing the products effectively. Selling a wide range of FMCG products and add-ons you will upsell and develop strong relationship with business owners, their employees, stock controllers and wholesalers.

For this position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria :

This role would suit an entry level salesperson, an experienced sales professional or someone with no sales experience looking to break into sales

You don't need a lot of sales experience as full training will be given - our client has employed people from all kinds of backgrounds from estate agents to teachers, to customer service representatives

You will need to be enthusiastic, and a natural relationship builder with huge amounts of energy, passion and drive as we as well presented and articulate.

Driving license with no more than 3 points

Degree is preferred but not essential so don't let this put you off!
