About the opportunity

The role will initially be an administration support role, working on the following :

Booking RFQs into the system

Updating trackers

Chasing supplier quotes

Other ad-hoc administrative tasks

The role will develop into a Sales Engineer role with duties that include :

Understanding customers’ engineering

Breaking down bills of material

Understanding how to read a drawing

Understanding Hyde’s manufacturing capabilities

Understanding different commodities and how we can offer a solution to each

Able to manage quotations

Communicate with customers and suppliers

Key Skills

Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude

Willingness to succeed

Work as part of a busy department
