This is an exciting position available for an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to providing support to the class teacher.Responsibilities include : Providing both dedicated support to individual pupils and the other pupils in classSupporting the students academic progress and developmentCollaborating with the classroom teacher and other staff members to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment.Assisting with the student's behaviour management and social-emotional developmentFollowing all school behaviour, safeguarding and Health and Safety policiesQualifications & attributes : Experience working with childrenGood understanding of the KS2 curriculum.The ability to support reading and phonics for those students at the early stages of readingGood organisational and communication skillsThe ability to support a programme of extra-curricular activitiesAbility to work between 8 : 30am to 3 : 30pm during the week term-time onlyThe role of a Teaching Assistant will enable you to use both your academic and inter-personal skills to support children in the classroom.
