Main Duties :

• To work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction / instruction of teaching & / or senior staff, inclusive of lesson preparation, planning, delivery and assessment, enabling access to learning for all pupils and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques.
• To undertake the role of a keyworker in the reintegration of pupils who have been on long term absence or persistent extended absence
• To work collaboratively with the attendance team and SLT link for attendance to ensure that a clearly defined plan for reintegration is in place and measured outcomes agreed
• To be the link between teacher, student and home so that lost learning through absence does not impact on future attendance
• Management of other teaching assistants including deployment and performance management.
• Target setting for students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
