Responsibilities : To carry out a robust triage, mental health and risk assessment followed by a robust management plan on all young people and children referred to CAMHS. The 1x staff would be responsible / focus on clearing ONLY the triage backlog and support with duty tasks. The suitable candidate must have substantive CAMHS experience to work in a front door busy service. Skills : The post holder will be a clinician with appropriate professional or regulatory body. They will have clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental difficulties, they will have significant experience of delivering clinically robust mental health assessment, risk assessment and management. The post holder will be a qualified clinician from a CAMHS Core Profession (Child Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology, CBT Therapist, Family Therapy) with CAMHS experience. Be able to Identify, assess and organise interdisciplinary approaches to risk and decision making in child mental healthcare. To have experience with CAMHS generic assessments and CAMHS Duty.
