Accounts Office Manager – 15-Month Maternity Cover📍 Location : Cullompton, Devon (office-based)🕘 Hours : Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (37.5 hours / week)💼 Contract Type : Fixed-term (15 months)💰 Salary : Up to £45,000 (DOE)I'm currently working with a well-established, internationally active healthcare supplier that’s looking for an experienced Accounts Office Manager to join their friendly and dedicated team on a 15-month maternity cover contract.This is a great opportunity for someone with strong finance experience and a hands-on management approach who enjoys working in a collaborative office environment.🔍 About the RoleYou’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the accounts team, overseeing both finance and admin staff, and playing a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly across internal systems.✅ Key Responsibilities : Managing daily finance operations and reportingLeading a small team across accounts and sales admin functionsBank reconciliations and purchase ledger maintenanceProcessing weekly payment runs and managing supplier / customer accountsCoordinating monthly stock takes and valuationsPreparing payroll information for external accountantsEnsuring accurate Sage entries and maintaining clean ledgersContributing to monthly management meetings🔧 What You’ll Need : Previous experience in a finance / accounts office environmentAt least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management roleExcellent attention to detail and strong time management skillsConfidence using Sage (essential)Great communication skills – both written and verbalFamiliarity with order processing, stock, or sales systems is a bonus🎁 What’s on Offer : Competitive salary up to £45,000Private medical and dental insuranceCompany pensionFree on-site parkingSupportive, close-knit team environmentIf this sounds like the right next step for you, I’d love to hear from you.
