60,000 - £70,000 p / a
Home based / Mobile role – Crawley RH10 a good central location
We are currently working with a market leading FM provider to recruit an Account Director to manage a flagship grounds maintenance contract across the south. Managing the £5m+ contract will include TUPE transfer of 70 staff who will deliver the grounds maintenance to a prominent housing provider. Mobilising the contract will be the initial focus, setting up robust processes and team culture to deliver the contract. Long-term goals for this role will be to continue to provide strategic leadership whilst growing the contracts in the region, with the expansion of the portfolio there is a clear promotion path to Operations Director as part of the company's senior leadership team under the MD.

Duties of the role include :
Mobilisation of a large new contract win.
Managing TUPE transfer of staff.
Settling in the new team, creating a positive and results driven culture.
Working closely with the new client to develop relationships on this flagship account.
Ensuring SLA's and KPI's are being managed and achieved along with contract compliance.
Management of 4 Contract Managers who each will manage a region with supervisors and grounds maintenance operatives.
Manage financial performance of the contract will full P+L responsibility .
Working with the business development team to grow the presence of the grounds maintenance division in the south.
Working as part of the senior leadership team for the company representing the grounds division, acting as a key part of the company's growth strategy.
Attending director level meetings and providing progress reports as required.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience :
Proven experience in grounds maintenance management
Experience managing a new contract / mobilisation
TUPE experience would be an advantage
Strong client relationship skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels.
Strategic and operational leadership skills, with experience managing, mentoring, and developing teams.
Robust financial management skills, including P&L management, forecasting and budgeting.
Desirable is experience in business development as the long term goal for the region is to grow and expand the landscaping offering.
