Job descriptionWork closely with project teams and sub-contractors to drive a strong safety culture on-site. Ensure completion of online site inductions and visitor inductions. Clearly convey safety expectations and encourage the reporting of weekly observations. Conduct toolbox talks, document site inspections, and participate in audits and inspections. Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards. Proven experience as an HSE Advisor or in a similar HSE role. In-depth knowledge of HSE management systems and regulations. Strong communication and leadership skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
A leading provider of high voltage design, engineering, and construction services in various sectors worldwide is seeking a talented HSE Advisor based in Cork to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
Responsibilities :
- Promote awareness of HSE requirements throughout the organisation.
- Review and ensure the implementation of the HSE management system.
- Supervise on-site activities to maintain adherence to HSE standards and procedures.
- Conduct incident investigations and promote behavioural HSE programmes.
- Monitor overall HSE performance during project execution.
