This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical design professional to take the lead on a variety of exciting projects within a collaborative and people-focused environment. The Opportunity Due to continued growth, the business is looking to expand its team with a Senior Electrical Engineer. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across regional offices under the guidance of project leads and principal engineers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience in electrical services design and a proactive approach to project delivery. The role includes mentoring junior engineers, overseeing project workflows, ensuring quality standards, and, over time, involvement in bidding and project financial management. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the electrical design of building services projects from concept to completion. Carry out feasibility studies, design development, specification writing, and contract administration. Attend site visits, oversee installations, and support project coordination with other disciplines. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development. Ensure compliance with quality assurance and project delivery standards. Support in producing fee proposals and managing project budgets (as experience progresses). Key Requirements Essential : Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline Minimum 3–5 years' experience in electrical design within building services Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical design software Strong technical and sector-based knowledge across a variety of project types Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members Excellent communication and organisation skills UK driving licence and access to own transport Desirable : Experience with Revit and BIM workflows Familiarity with design and energy modelling software (training can be provided) Benefits : Hybrid working model Career development and internal promotion opportunities Team socials, company events, and employee recognition schemes Interested?
