Countryside Wardenrequired toworkwith Newry, Mourne and Down Council based at Tyrella Beach, Downpatrick. This post is initially on a temporary basis for 3 months with the possibility of an extension. The post is full-time working 36 hours a week between the hours of 06.30am -11pm, Monday to Sunday. The rate of pay is £18.77an hour. A successful candidates main duties will include : : Managing a team of seasonal staff to include organising rotas, assigning duties, undertaking inductions and basic training, and timesheet approval. Overseeing the collection of car park income to include completion of the relevant financial documentation and lodgement of collected monies. Overseeing traffic management at the car park. Undertaking and overseeing cyclical health and safety checks across the site. Undertaking risk assessments for on-site activities. Undertaking and overseeing outdoor manual activities such as grass cutting, litter picking, signage cleans etc. What We Need From You Clean and current UK driving licence 1 year relevant work experience dealing with members of the public Be able to demonstrate their previous experience in managing a team Experience in financial reporting Experience operating outdoors in a role that involves manual handling What We Will Offer You Weekly pay Opportunity to work in the public sector Attractive Pay Rate
