The Role :
Our client is expanding their services and client workload, creating an exciting opportunity for a CAD Techniain to join a progressive and friendly team. This role offers valuable insight into specialist sub-contracting, manufacturing, and the delivery of steelwork across various sectors, including infrastructure, nuclear, rail, buildings, and energy markets. The position is diverse and interesting, forming part of a larger operational team focused on 'one team delivery.' Projects and clients vary, as do the daily tasks and roles required.
The Person :
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the delivery team, ensuring the safe and consistent delivery of high-quality products to customers. This role will both complement and enhance the existing Project team, which provides steel solutions to a wide range of market sectors and clients. There is also the prospect of hybrid working.
Skills & Experience :
- Essential experience with TEKLA.
- Proven track record in delivering projects within the defence, power, oil & gas, and nuclear environments.
- Preferred experience in fabrication.
- Ability to work effectively in partnership with the Project team.
- Experience working in association with a fabrication shop.
- Competence in assessing project specifications to ensure compliance with end products.
- Self-motivated and driven to complete tasks on time and to specification.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, especially with non-technical staff.
