Description :
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Database Administration team at Marsh McLennan as a MongoDB Database Manager .
This role will be based in Liverpool or in our Bristol, Chichester, Leeds or Manchester offices.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This is unique opportunity for an individual contributor to lead a team across Canada, Columbia, India & the US.
Your experience in and understanding of MongoDB will allow Marsh McLennan to make more meaningful decisions, through design, delivery and support.
Working in partnership with your Indian counterpart, you will join our wider team who together, across Australia, Canada, UK & the US, are responsible for Mongo databases & projects related to our Oracle environment, for the Global Marsh McLennan business.
We will count on you to :
- Manage priorities and assign work to team members
- Work closely with offshore colleagues to ensure smooth transition of work handover
- To guide team on resolving configuration / performance issues.
- Support MySQL and PostgreSQL in addition to MongoDB
- DR Failover and Switchover knowledge.
- Hands on experience on upgrade of Mongo Databases to higher versions
