A Finance Business Partner position with a leading Cheltenham manufacturer. A real success story with a recent track record of growth and acquisition activity. Plentiful opportunities for progression and a role that will allow you to build strong relationships across a range of functions. An office-based role, supporting operational colleagues to help drive business performance.
Role responsibilities and candidate background
In this role, you will work with and influence management teams by challenging decisions and steering discussions relating to strategy. You will help evaluate make vs buy decisions and identify solutions to any control weaknesses. In addition, you will prepare inventory and indirect cost projections that feed in to the budgeting and forecasting cycles as well as carrying out month-end tasks.
As well as having outstanding communication skills and being able to demonstrate commercial awareness, we are looking for someone who understands the importance of compliance and how it underpins a lot of key processes.
You will ideally have an understanding of manufacturing and inventory although this is not essential. Your Excel will be of a high standard and you will have some experience of financial modelling and scenario evaluation. You’ll also enjoy working in a fast-paced environment alongside colleagues from a variety of departments.
