Job descriptionTo provide strong, professional knowledge and technical ability to manage, monitor and maintain the existing Effluent Waste Treatment Plant and other plant and equipment required for the needs of the business To provide technical support with regards to waste management, and quality service to other areas of the business. To commit to being part of the on-call Incident Response Team for site, becoming point of contact for Plant breakdowns and capable of supporting other potential incidents on site, such as chemical spill and clean up. To manage and control allocated Preventative Maintenance tasks. To ensure all statutory / legal maintenance tasks adhere to company procedures, policies, business ethical standards and legal requirements always, in particular compliance with HSE and EA governance. Minimum of NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical and / or Electrical engineering is essential. Minimum 5 years' experience within a facilities maintenance role is essential, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Experience of working with Effluent Waste Treatment Plant or Chemical Wastewater systems Knowledge of and adherence to safe working practices in line with HSE policy, Risk Assessment and COSHH procedures.
