In the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Position : Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location : Chelmsford

Salary Scale : £90-£110

Contract Type : Full-time

Responsibilities :

Curriculum Delivery :  As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will lead and deliver lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring the continued progress and engagement of students.

Support and Differentiation :  Provide targeted support to individuals and groups of students, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.

Collaboration :  As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will work closely with teachers and school leaders to contribute to the planning and development of curriculum activities.

Assessment and Reporting :  Assist in the assessment of student progress, providing valuable insights and feedback to contribute to ongoing improvement.

Behavioural Support :  As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will implement positive behavior management strategies, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Professional Development :  Engage in continuous professional development, staying informed about best practices and educational innovations.

Qualifications and Skills :

Qualified as HLTA or  equivelant  experience as a Teaching assistant.

Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, with a demonstrated ability to lead lessons and support diverse learning needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.

Initiative, adaptability, and a genuine passion for contributing to the educational success of students.

Relevant qualifications or training in education or a related field.
