As a CNC Setter / Operator, you’ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes or mills to produce high-quality precision parts. Your day-to-day duties will include preparing machines, running production cycles, and conducting part inspections using measuring tools such as verniers, micrometres, and gauges. You’ll also ensure each component meets exacting standards (around 0.1 - 0.2 tolerance) As a CNC Setter / Operator, you work closely with team leaders and other departments, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), production plans, and maintenance schedules. As part of a high-performing team, you’ll be expected to maintain a clean and efficient workstation, take part in front-line asset care, and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
