Kitchen AssistantJob Type : Full-time (includes Weekends)Salary : £28,500 per yearWe are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team in delivering high-quality food service. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, friendly environment.Responsibilities : Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menuEnsure food is consistently prepared and presented to high standardsAssist in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredientsMaintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areasWash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as requiredEnsure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all timesReceive and store deliveries correctlySupport the team in setting up and closing down the kitchen each dayPerform other duties as needed to assist kitchen operationsContribute to menu development and daily specials when neededOur ideal candidate : Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not essential – training will be providedAbility to work efficiently in a busy environmentGood communication and teamwork skillsFlexibility to work weekends and occasionally eveningA positive attitude and willingness to take initiativeBasic understanding of food safety and hygiene (training can be provided)The restaurant will be open 7 days a week from 9am - 6pm.
