A leading technology-driven organisation is seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join its Global Customer Support team in Pool, Redruth. This is a hands-on role supporting a global client base across satellite communications, IP networking, and firewall technologies.As a senior engineer on shift, you will play a key role in mentoring junior staff, resolving complex technical issues, and maintaining operational excellence within a 24 / 7 support environment.Key Responsibilities : Provide 2nd line technical support across a range of satellite, networking, and IT infrastructure technologiesProactively monitor and respond to network and system alerts, identifying and resolving issues in line with SLAsTroubleshoot IP routing, switching, and RF-related faults across customer and internal systemsDeliver exceptional customer service, managing support tickets from initial contact through to resolutionAssist in training and mentoring junior team members to ensure continuous improvementEnsure accurate documentation and logging of all technical support activity using internal systemsContribute to the development and refinement of support processes and technical documentationWhat We're Looking For : Essential : Proven experience in a technical support or network operations roleStrong IP networking knowledge and troubleshooting abilityExcellent communication and customer service skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work on a 24 / 7 shift rotaDesirable : Experience supporting satellite communications or working in a Network Operations Centre (NOC)Familiarity with systems such as Inmarsat, VSAT, BGAN, Intellian, Seatel, Iridium, or ThurayaCCNA, JNCIA or similar networking certificationsBackground supporting MOD or defence-related clientsBenefits : Competitive salary (dependent on experience)Structured training and development programmeExposure to cutting-edge technologies and global networksOpportunities for progression within a growing support functionEstablished in Didsbury, Connexa Technology Ltd is becoming one of the UK's fastest growing IT and Technology recruitment companies.People.
