Job Description
We are looking for passionate individuals who are willing to work across our large pool of ALN schools within the Cardiff area. We want candidates who feel confident to work with a range of different needs, striving to make children’s school experience a fun and safe environment, giving them the tools to reach their full potential.
A child-based role or support work background is desirable for this role as well as a calm demeanour and the ability to adapt to the changing environment that comes with an ALN setting.
Ideally, we ask for 3 months minimum experience working with children, or have a child based qualification.
You will have :
- Good understanding of English language
- A proactive attitude
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Capability to monitor behavioural needs and support pupils with low self-esteem
- A calm demeanour and encouraging nature
