Duties and Responsibilities : To remain aware of current legislation and statutory duties, ensuring the business achieves compliance (with necessary audits), generating and maintaining company standards as required.To develop, refine and implement maintenance strategies for electrical engineering using recognised methodologies, such as RCA and FMEA.Guide and assist the electrical engineers to develop achievable schedules.Witness sample inspections & maintenance to ensure quality control.Provide hands-on practical fault assistance, including power generation support, to the electrical maintenance team as required.Manage Projects for electrical infrastructure projects up to £1M from initial concept through to final commissioning ensuring budgets and schedules are kept to agreed limits.Provide onsite training for relevant engineering personnel on the electrical network up to 11KV in switching, turbine operation and permit issuing, then subsequent authorisation.To deputise for the refinery Engineering Manager or other personnel as required and to support the broader engineering team as required.
