Job description

Senior Registered Nurse (RMN / RNLD) - PICU / ACUTE

Location : Nottingham

Salary : £41,475 - £44,648 per annum (£21.26 - £22.89 per hour) - Negotiable depending on experience

Bonus : £5,000 welcome bonus and overtime rates (full details listed below)

Hours : Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference

Shifts : Days only, Nights only, or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference

Summary : Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with a PICU Mental Health Hospital in Nottingham. The hospital provides acute mental health services and 2 PICU single-gender PICU wards. The Hospital has 4 wards in total :

1x female acute ward
1x Male Acute ward
1 female PICU
1 Male PICU

Responsibilities :

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure the patients in this PICU service receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.

Requirements :

A relevant nursing qualification (RMN or RNLD)

A valid NMC registration with no restrictions

Eligibility to live and work in the UK

A minimum of 1 year of Mental Health Nursing Experience - we will also consider Registered Learning Disabilities Nurses with experience in an inpatient environment

Strong team-working skills

A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach

A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate

A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
