School of Creative Industries is running 1 x 15-week Film & Screen Saturday Club for local school and college students.
We are recruiting a lead tutor to deliver these interactive sessions. You will contribute to the day-to-day administration, delivery, and support of the Saturday Club in collaboration with Faculty colleagues. You will organise session facilities, materials, travel, events, venues, and other logistics, along with monitoring and supporting engagement and attendance, and carrying out impact evaluation.
You will deliver specific interactive, practical sessions and should therefore in addition to a high level of film production competence also have experience of working with young people in an informal education setting. The closing stages of the club will see you bring together representative outputs of the club to present at a final show in London.
The Film and Screen Club will be hosted within the University’s multi-million-pound Screen School, and you will be expected to be present on campus for approximately one day per week undertaking the necessary administrative and preparatory collaborative working in addition to the scheduled Saturdays of delivery.
Compliance with University procedures and regulations mean you will contribute to safeguarding processes and policies. A DBS check will be required for this role.
The position is based in the University of Wolverhampton School of Creative Industries, Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences at the University of Wolverhampton, in the UK.
The University of Wolverhampton values a diverse workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. We particularly welcome applications from candidates of Black, African, Caribbean, and Asian heritage.
