The role :
As Senior Employment Lawyer you’ll act as the key legal business partner, supporting a wide range of matters with regards to employee relations across the Council and the wider community.
- You will advise Officers, Councillors and maintained schools on all aspects of employment law
- Draft and negotiate settlement agreements
- Handle employment claims and draft legal responses
- You will be regarded as the employment expert, and will be called upon for guidance on internal policies and procedures
- When called upon, you’ll support TUPE arrangements and handle any issues as they arise.
