Employment Type : Full Time (37.5 hours per week)Shift Pattern : Rotating Days, Afternoons, and NightsShift Allowance : Additional 17% on top of hourly rate for rotating shiftsPay Rate : Up to £16.88 per hour (Dependent on experience)We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Fitter to join our reputable client in maintaining, assembling, and overhauling industrial machinery and mechanical systems.Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter :

• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing of mechanical systems and components.
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and hydraulic / pneumatic equipment.
• Dismantle, inspect, and replace worn or damaged mechanical parts using tools and machinery.
• Support machinery overhauls, upgrades, and new installations.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and report recurring mechanical issues.The Mechanical Fitter should have :
• Essential :
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a manufacturing, engineering, or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, and rotating machinery.
