The bpi division sits within the Flexible Division of Berry Global Inc. a US listed company with an annual turnover of around $13bn and over 40,000 employees.
The bpi division has manufacturing sites across the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland and Romania. We are currently recruiting at our Bromborough site for Extrusion Operators working 12 hours shifts on a 2 days / 2 nights rota basis.
Qualifications
Experience in the operation of extrusion equipment
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment (min 2 years experience) training will be given (desirable)
Good team working and communication
Positive and pro-active attitude
Be able to work unsupervised and using own initiative
Ability to handle multiple priorities to ensure deadlines are met

Responsibilities
- Working safe in accordance with site procedures and safe systems of work
- Reporting all hazards and act on them accordingly
- Housekeeping on all extrusion lines
- Monitor of product quality and ensure all quality checks and testing is carried out in line with specifications
- Monitor and manage line output rates, utilisation, scrap levels against plan / targets on each line
- Operate extrusion machinery and monitor and manage recycling equipment on each unit
- Ensure accurate data is recorded and inputted correctly
- Ensure a good handover of information to the incoming operator
