MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

45,000 – £50,000 + BONUS + BENEFITS

Due to the winning of impressive contracts, my client are looking to bring in an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, who has experience ideally working with Revit.

We are looking for an ambitious person, with good experience in delivering high quality designs and communicating with clients directly. You will be working with clients from a range of sectors, but there is a number of Automotive clients within the portfolio.

If you’re a driven & highly motivated person wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in what is a truly unique environment, this could be the role for you.

THE ROLE :

Providing a bridge to the gap currently between the Junior Designer and the Design Manager.
Working on Design projects, for a vast array of clients – for example Automotive Manufacturers And Food and Drink companies.
Designing both the actual unit but then also Panelling for these applications.
Helping the company transition from AutoCAD over to Revit (Revit experience is therefore highly beneficial).
Attending handover meetings.
Working closely with the Sales and Projects teams.
Checking specifications and timeline agreed by sales team, ensuring they are realistic.

THE PERSON :

Experience working with AutoCAD and Revit

Experience producing 2d and 3d designs.

Good communication skills.

Confident holding others to account.

Experienced dealing directly with Clients and providing design updates.
