Our client based in Brigg, Lincolnshire is a well-established business that provides packaging solutions into the healthcare sector.They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Despatch Operator with FLT license required to join their team as soon as possible.The role is a permanent opportunity, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days followed by 2 nights) with shift times of 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am. The pay rate is £12.78 per hour, including a shift premium which is paid per month. Additional benefits include quarterly bonus, 20 days holiday, life assurance, company pension scheme, employee assistance programme and access to the occupational health platform. Please note, to be considered for this role you must hold a forklift licence and have experience of using SAP operating system.Duties of the role will include :
- Accurately pick orders following picking list and prepare goods for delivery
- Accurately complete manual goods in / out
- Carry out correct identification of materials by label
- Receive deliveries and distribute accordingly
- Following receiving in inspection plans to ensure quality of supplied product
- Accurately complete and distribute despatch paperwork and documentation
- Safely operate counterbalance and reach forklift truck and pallet truck
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety
- Participate in stock inventory and check as required
- Wrap reels as defined by specification
- Transfer all finished products onto shipping pallets using the pallet invertor
- Operate core cutter machine to cut cores as required
- Remove litter and manufacturing waste from designated areas throughout the plant, segregate and organise into correct skips ready for disposal
- Maintain housekeeping standards at all times
