As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be an integral part of a thriving team, ensuring that cutting-edge production lines operate at peak efficiency.What You Will Do : - Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting on machinery to keep operations running smoothly.- Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks and services to optimise equipment functionality.- Analyse production data and collaborate with stakeholders to recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.- Assist in training staff on new equipment and processes to ensure seamless operations.- Maintain clear communication with opposite shifts about ongoing maintenance topics.- Use the in-house system to accurately record work performed and manage spare parts inventory.- Uphold high standards of health and safety, food safety, and hygiene.What You Will Bring : - Proven experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within the food manufacturing industry.- Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and production processes.- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.- Clear and articulate communication skills, both verbal and written.- Adaptability to work with various manufacturing IT systems.- Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous, but full training will be provided.- An IPAF or forklift licence, along with some electrical knowledge, would be beneficial but not essential.This role is crucial to the company's mission of delivering high-quality products while continuously innovating and expanding their operations.
