We have an exciting opportunity for Quantity Surveyors at multiple levels to join the Commercial Services Team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

We are looking for Quantity Surveyors at all levels to be accountable for the commercial assurance of all financial and contractual aspects of contracted works in relation to a portfolio of schemes associated with delivery of Yorkshire Water’s Capital Programme including working within the AMP 8 Storm Overflow Alliance programme and AMP8 non-Alliance programmes. This includes assuring project budgets, supporting negotiations with partners and suppliers, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, evaluating financial risks and supporting success by overseeing the associated financial aspects.

You will also be responsible for supporting the Commercial and Contracts Manager and other Quantity Surveyors in developing and implementing commercial strategies and procedures and identifying new commercial opportunities.

The Commercial Services Team work closely with the Capital Delivery Programme Managers, Capital Delivery Senior Project Managers and Project Managers to optimise contract performance and deliver contracts within budget and on schedule.

Additionally, you will support the development and implementation of contract administration, risk assessment, and procurement strategies to support the successful completion of schemes and will provide guidance and support in aspects such as risk management, cost control, and budget control.
