They design and manufacture the industry’s broadest offering of standard products and are a market leading designer of custom power solutions.Well, known for the quality of its products and workforce, they can provide you the opportunity to work with talented people and a management team focused on growth and the ongoing development of leading-edge technologies for many of the world’s major OEM’s.Description : Working in the production department of this manufacturing organization, undertaking all forms of electronic assembly and related tasksResponsibilities : Ability to solder, wire and form components to military standards (J-STD)Ability to follow written work instructions.A keen eye for detailAbility to maintain a high level of concentration.Ability to distinguish coloursMust possess good manual dexterity and have a good level of literacy and numeracy.Knowledge of magnetics wiringKnowledge of wiring diagrams / schematicsAbility to use workshop toolsPerform precision soldering of electronic components on PCBs per military standardInspect and rework soldered joints for quality assuranceFollow detailed work instructions and diagramsMaintain a clean and safe working environmentDocument and report any defects or issuesCollaborate with the quality control team to improve processesEducation / Experience : IPC-A-610 qualification or equivalentGood time management skills and has a positive and methodical approach to workAbility to use soldering equipmentElectronic component recognitionSelf-motivatedEssential : Methodical structured approach to time management and task execution and ability to work to tight timescales.Able to react and take decisions quickly whilst remaining cool, calm and collected.Good interpersonal, organisation, communication and influencing skills.Be a proactive and good communicator to drive projects and tasks to timely completion.Confident dealing with people at all levels (internally and externally).Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.Compensation and Benefits : Hours of Work : 38 per week, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm (half hour lunch) Monday – Thursday, 8.30 am to 12.30 pm Friday.Pension : Group Stakeholder Pension Scheme.
