The role : Lead and manage a team of support workers, ensuring high-quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities.Develop and implement person-centred care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.Conduct regular team meetings and supervisions to promote team cohesion and professional development.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support services, making adjustments as necessary.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.Act as a point of contact for clients, families, and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns or queries.Support the recruitment, training, and induction of new staff members.Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the team and the wider organisation.Required Skills & Qualifications : Experience in leadership roles within adult services, particularly in care management and team leading.Strong understanding of learning disabilities and the associated support needs.Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above).Proficient in personal care and support work for adults.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build positive relationships.Strong organisational and time management skills.Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.The good bit!Collaborative and supportive team with full Induction and training availablePension scheme, annual leave, rewards and incentives Scope for career progressionFull time opportunity Monday to Friday (to be flexible where needed for the service).
