Work Pattern :

Week 1 : 06 : 45-14 : 45 Monday to Thursday and 06 : 45-13 : 45 Friday

Week 2 : 14 : 30-22 : 30 Monday to Thursday and 13 : 30-20 : 30 Friday

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a factory Janitor / Cleaner to join our very reputable and well-established client based in Billingshurst. If you have good knowledge of working in GMP environments, then this would be beneficial.

Janitor / Cleaner Key Responsibilities :

• Operate safely and prioritise safety.
• Execute daily housekeeping routines as directed by the Janitor Team Leader.
• Empty and repack materials from factory process extraction systems in a safe manner.
• Safely operate and maintain forklifts and hand pallet trucks as needed.
• Monitor waste material containers and notify Production Supervisors when they require collection.
• Operate and maintain the waste cardboard compactor and general waste compactor.
• Notify supervisors when cardboard or general waste containers need to be emptied.
• Assist with wrapping finished product pallets when required.
• Perform minor site maintenance tasks such as painting.

Janitor / Cleaner experience required :

Essential :

• Literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to carry out minor maintenance tasks.
• Effective communication skills with colleagues.
• Previous experience working in a factory environment.

Preferred :

• Scissor lift experience.
