We are looking for a skilled and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join a great team in a part-time capacity at a well-equipped veterinary practice located on the Staffordshire / Cheshire border. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing high-quality care to pets.

The practice is ideally located with easy access to Biddulph town centre and nearby attractions such as Biddulph Grange Country Park, Mow Cop and the Cheshire Gritstone Trail. Our state-of-the-art facilities include iM3 dental digital radiography, Firefly video otoscopy, ultrasound, and digital radiography.

There is a strong commitment to achieve Gold Cat Friendly Clinic status and we have recently refurbished our practice to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for our patients and their owners.

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will work alongside our highly dedicated Branch Partner, Practice Manager, Head Nurse, and RVN. Our caseload includes a variety of species, including reptiles and exotic pets, so this position would be ideal for someone with an interest in these areas. We also offer support and opportunities for professional development, including the option to complete a certificate.

We are offering a competitive salary package of up to £65,000 pro rata’d, depending on experience. You will also receive a CPD allowance of £1,500 and 3 days of CPD leave, as well as a Vehicle or allowance. We will cover your BVS, VDS, and RCVS fees, and you will receive 5 weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays pro rata. We also offer enhanced maternity and paternity pay, as well as a Certificate of Sponsorship, Tier 2 (general visa), and a relocation package for both UK and overseas candidates.
