Role : Control System Software Engineer
Location : Bellshill, Scotland
Hours : 37.5hrs per week - Office based
Salary range : £40,000 - £50,000

We work with the world’s leading spirits manufacturers helping them to produce many of the world’s best known spirits brands. Our work takes us to some of the largest, most advanced and highest volume drinks production sites in the world.
About the role
Our Control System Engineers are responsible for the project requirement review, development, testing, installation and commissioning of software to achieve automation project objectives. The size and scale of the projects can vary from a simple change to accommodate new plant instrumentation to large new plant software design and development.
There is opportunity to work on a variety of customer manufacturing sites, using a range of software technologies. Working within a team there is a support network as well as broad training available to allow you to achieve your professional development goals, while putting learning into practice.
Main Responsibilities
- Reviewing customer requirements, Production and maintenance of requirements, design, test and user documentation.
- Control System Software development (PLC / DCS, HMI and SCADA)
- Customer site-based installation and commissioning, Participating in our on-call team rota providing 24 / 7, 361days cover
- Liaising with the Project Manager to deliver high-quality, structured software within agreed timeframes.
