The Opportunity : As a Technical Service Operator, you’ll be crucial in ensuring our sites meet customer and Smurfit Westrock requirements. You’ll maintain positive relationships with suppliers, internal teams, and external customers. Your proactive approach to quality will contribute to continuous improvement, and you’ll manage technical information related to carton production.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock :
- Manage technical carton production information within the Technical Service team.
- Receive task directives from your line manager, participate in meetings, and complete performance reviews.
- Undertake general responsibilities as instructed by your line manager and efficiently operate within the preproduction environment, assisting teammates.
- Gather data from customers for new items.
- Generate Master Estimates, Production Estimates, and item specs.
- Manage revision levels and item obsolescence.
- Ensure accurate cost capture.
- Make combi decisions and process items for combi print when necessary.
- Conduct technical-level pre-flighting of artwork.
- Ensure production meets the highest quality standards, SOP guidelines, and customer requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and company quality programs.
