Business Development Apprentice

Location : Hybrid role - Based across either our London office near to Liverpool Street or our HQ in Billericay, Essex as well as time working from home

Salary : £16,500 for the first year

Contract Type : 18 month fixed term contract

Working Hours : 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

You’ll gain a nationally recognised Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship qualification as well as real-world experience in a leading UK environmental business.

At Ground Control, we create, maintain, and sustain outdoor environments across the UK, working with some of the nation’s biggest brands. As a Business Development Apprentice, you will play a key role in driving new opportunities and supporting our mission to deliver sustainable solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing;

As part of our Business Development team, you’ll gain hands-on experience while studying for your Sales Executive Level 4 Apprenticeship. Your key responsibilities will include :

• Managing the busy inbound sales enquiries email inbox
• Responding to potential clients either by email or over the phone and identifying definite business opportunities
• Working closely with different departments and ensuring that all enquiries are directed to the correct team in a timely manner
• Market Research into potential clients and gathering insights to help shape our business development strategies in the future
• Ad hoc admin support to the Business Development team as and when needed.
