Core hours 9 : 30am to 3 : 30pmContract / Permanent : ContractSite Based / Office / Remote : Site based with flexibility to work from homeStart Date : ASAPJob Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control, Electrical & Instrumentation (CE&I) Engineer to join our nuclear consultancy team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for nuclear projects. It is a vital requirement.What will your day look like?Lead the design, development, and implementation of CE&I systems for nuclear projects.Develop engineering solutions for new-build, operational support, and decommissioning projects within the nuclear sector.Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, and protective device coordination.Conduct instrumentation selection, configuration, and integration into nuclear plant systems.Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements, industry codes (IEC, BS, IEEE, ONR, IAEA, etc.), and safety guidelines.Oversee and review CE&I specifications, schematics, drawings, reports, and calculations. Formal qualifications or training : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it (IET or equivalent) preferred.Minimum 6 years' of experience in CE&I engineering.Nuclear experienceMake a Difference : We know you're looking for more than just a job - you aspire to make a real impact in the nuclear industry.
