The school is proud of its strong reputation within the community and its commitment to fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.Key Responsibilities : Deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching may be available for suitable candidates).Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential in language learning.Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement.Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities.Person Specification : Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.A degree in a relevant subject area.Ability to teach both French and Spanish confidently at KS3 and KS4.A passion for languages and a commitment to raising student attainment.Strong classroom management skills and a creative approach to teaching.Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork abilities.Desirable : Experience of teaching to GCSE level in both languages.Familiarity with the latest developments in language pedagogy.Willingness to contribute to trips abroad or language-based enrichment activities.The school offers excellent facilities, a supportive staff body, and a comprehensive programme of professional development.
